Insipred by Virginia Beach, Va rapper - SBS Art District: The Luxury Pack Exhibit is a showcase of black art through music and fashion. Our CEO's goal was to bring life to the words spoken to her by on his latest album release, ''. Below are words directly from her:
"I had been following on Instagram for a few years before I realized there was a connection between myself and his music. After being captured by the album cover of his 2020 release, '' I decided to give it a listen. I went into it with no expectations and allowed to the album to play, no skips.
Fast forward to his 2021 album release, '' - it was then I knew I had to reach out and collab with him. '' showed growth. It showed dedication. It showed the process of perfecting his craft and I couldn't help but respect it. His confidence was at an all-time high - so high that I was forced to believe every word he spoke, lol.
"Who else gone talk that talk and then walk that walk? Whoever sleeping on me better watch yo clock." -
"Only one Gee$ ... I'm one of one." -
It was those simple, yet demanding, words that led me to reach out to do a collab.
One of my many goals for 2022 was to collab with black artists - whether it be in fashion or music. I wanted to express how my mind processes the beauty of their art - even in their pain (listen to the ) and how their art can be worn on a set of press-ons. I wanted to expand both, my and their, art to multiple audiences and I wanted to do it in a subtle yet creative way. I wanted to create a table where all black artists can sit and eat and showcase their art, freely. Here's your first plate." - Shanell 💋, Founder & CEO of ShadedbyShanell

Words from and the history behind
": It's all about melody for me. So when I first heard the beat, I had got that melody for the hook and how I was gonna flow on the verses. The hook is talking about street s*** but at the same time it's paying homage to Dame Dash with the "pop gold bottles like the old Dame". I feel like I showed my versatility style wise on that joint. I don't think n**** know that I can flow on anything lol. But overall that's the vibe of it.. just some cool street s***, talking my talk.
: It's really the same process on all my songs. I gotta feel what the beat is telling me ya know. So it's always figuring out the melody of the hook and tryna figure out how ima flow to it. With this one tho I wanted to tap into letting people get more of a personal side to me. Like strip away the music like the real me you know what I mean. The lines like "19 doing dad things""grind hard for my last name" then I also talk my talk with "only one Gee$ b**** I'm one of one". Like that's me as well cause I most definitely wear my confidence on my sleeve. If you aren't your biggest critic and biggest fan I don't really think you're tapped into your creative bag foreal. That's just my opinion tho."
